Nichole Masters

Ballet Instructor

Miss Nichole is a graduate of Cape Town University Ballet School and has studied ballet, modern, Spanish dance, choreography, and choreology. She taught with the Western Cape Education Department for nine years, specializing in ballet and creative dance. During those years she also organized RAD examinations and staged and choreographed student performances.

 

In 1999, she moved to the U.S. and joined the faculty of the Shore Ballet School in Island Heights, NJ. While at Shore Ballet she taught ballet and modern dance and choreographed/staged numerous dances for student performances. Miss Nichole has been examined successfully in RAD and Cecchetti methods and holds the Royal Academy of Dance’s Teachers Dipolma. She is also a certified Group Fitness instructor. She is a member of the American Academy of Ballet and Royal Academy of Dance. Miss Nichole recently obtained certification as a PBT Instructor. (Progressing Ballet Technique); a strengthening and conditioning program that helps improve performance and technique.

 

Since relocating to Delaware in 2010, Miss Nichole has been teaching ballet at Delaware Dance Company and creative dance enrichment programs at area pre-schools. Miss Nichole is very happy to be teaching at Bella Dance Center.

Mandie Quinn

Instructor

Miss Mandie began dancing at the age of two at a local studio.  When she was ten she joined their company where she studied ballet, tap, lyrical, contemporary, jazz, hip hop, musical theater, pointe, modern, and Hawaiian.  While a member of her studio's company she performed in the Philadelphia Thanksgiving Day Parade with Disney and Channel 6 as well as Disney World, parades, and various competitions.  

 

For high school Miss Mandie attended the Southern New Jersey Academy of Performing Arts where she studied dance, receiving training under esteemed instructors including former Pennsylvania Ballet principal dancer David Klaus and former professional modern dancer Althea Leslie.  While in high school Miss Mandie also received the choreography award from her studio.

 

After high school Miss Mandie was a member of the Revere Dance Company whose main focus was contemporary during the 2013-2014 season.  During that time Miss Mandie was also a judge/adjudicator for the That's Entertainment Dance Competition.

 

Miss Mandie began teaching in 2009, instructing all age levels and genres of dance.  She loves to share her passion for the arts with the next generation of dancers.  Miss Mandie is very excited to begin her journey at Bella Dance Center!

Mia Carini
Instructor

Miss Mia started dancing when she was just 18 months old. Since then she has studied ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical, contemporary, modern, musical theater and pointe.  At two, she started dancing competitively, and continued for 13 years. She won numerous awards including Platinum, High Score Awards, Title Awards, Special Judges' Awards, and the Kindness Award.   Miss Mia became a student teacher in 2017 and has been teaching ever since!

 

Miss Mia has been dancing with Miss Amy for 14 years and has been at Bella Dance Center since the day it opened. Currently, she is a high school junior in Wilmington, DE where she is the Class President of 2024. She is in all honors and advanced placement classes along with taking classes at DelTech. She is entering year 12 of advanced Greek Language classes and passed her A1 exam for Greek Language. Miss Mia just completed her second summer of an internship at the Read House and Gardens and the Delaware Historical Society in Wilmington.

Miss Mia is at the studio 4 days a week and absolutely loves it. She is planning on dancing for the rest of her life and continuing to be an instructor at Bella Dance Center. She also has plans to study in the medical and political fields in the future. When not dancing she enjoys spending time with her friends and family and traveling. Miss Mia is not only excited to continue her training at BDC dancer but for the opportunity to continue teaching her students!

Mia Fraser

Student Teacher

Miss Mia began dancing with Miss Amy when she was only 2 years old. Now 16 years old, in 11th grade, Mia continues to have a passion for dance, focusing on Jazz and Musical Theatre. Miss Mia has been student teaching for the past 5 years and adores it! She loves growing under the supportive leadership of Miss Amy, while working with the adorable Mommy & Me dancers to fun-loving 5-6 year olds each week. 

 

When Miss Mia is not at college or dancing, she is on the softball field, swimming, drawing, painting, designing, or spending time with her family and friends and 7 chickens. Taking accelerated classes, Miss Mia is participating in the Early College Academy Dual Enrollment Program at Cecil College pursuing a degree in architectural design, but plans on dancing for the rest of her life!

 

Miss Mia always looks forward to working with your dancers and enjoys seeing them develop into beautiful dancers!

Miss Gabby started dancing when she was only 2 years old. She moved to Bella Dance Center at age 7 and has been there ever since. For the past 14 years she’s studied ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical, and musical theater.

 

She was a member of Bella Dance Center’s Competition Team from 2016-2021. She is at the studio 4-5 days a week and loves it!


Miss Gabby is currently a sophomore at Middletown High School. She is taking classes in the engineering pathway with dreams of becoming an architect. Miss Gabby also plays on the field hockey team and is involved with the school's orchestra where she plays the violin.


Miss Gabby is honored to be a student teacher at Bella Dance Center and is very excited to work with your dancers!

Gabie Gomes

Student Teacher

Miss Gabie has been a student teacher for three years and absolutely loves it! This will be her ninth year dancing at Bella Dance Center. She has studied tap, jazz, ballet, pointe, musical theater, and lyrical. She was on BDC’s team from 2018-2021 and had an amazing experience. 

 

Miss Gabie is in tenth grade at Middletown High School. This year she will be taking two AP classes and all honors. She has joined the Middletown cheer team and is so excited to try something new! 

 

When Miss Gabie is not dancing, she enjoying a spending time with her dog and hanging out with friends. She loves to shop and of course going to the beach. She also works at her dads small business in Smyrna. 

 

Miss Gabie is honored to be a student teacher again and loves the experience she gets from it. She adores watching your kids grow as dancers and people.

This is Miss Madison’s first year as a student teacher. She has always wanted to be a student teacher and is absolutely honored! She started dancing at 5 years old with Ms. Amy and this year will be her 10th year dancing at Bella Dance Center. She has studied Jazz, Tap, Musical Theater, Lyrical, Ballet and Pointe. She was on BDCs competition team for 5 years from 2016-2021. She absolutely loved it!

 

Miss Madison is in 8th grade at Alfred G Waters Middle School. She is taking advanced classes and is so excited for her last year of middle school!

 

When not dancing she loves to spend time with her friends, going shopping, baking and cooking. During the summer she loves to travel and spend time with her family.

 

Miss Madison can’t wait to student teach and see kids grow as dancers!

Miss Tekai started dancing at the age of eleven. Over the past 7 years she has studied tap, jazz, ballet, musical theatre, hip hop, and lyrical/contemporary. 

 

Miss Tekai is a 12th grade student at Bohemia Manor High School, and is a member of the Society of Torch and Laurel. When she is not at the studio dancing she enjoys painting and reading thriller books.

Miss Tekai is excited to be a student teacher and can't wait to see her students grow as dancers!

Miss Kendall starting dancing at the age of 2 and has been dancing with Miss Amy ever since then.  She started competitive dance at 8 years old and has studied ballet, jazz, tap, lyrical, pointe, modern, and musical theater. 

 

When Miss Kendall isn’t dancing she is either working at the Chesapeake Inn, cheerleading for her high school football team, or interning with Odessa High School's athletic trainer. 

Miss Kendall is 17 and a senior at Caravel Academy and hopes to one day to become an athletic trainer and study at University of Delaware.

 

Miss Kendall is extremely excited to work with the dancers and further their love of dancing.
