Nichole Masters
Ballet Instructor
Miss Nichole is a graduate of Cape Town University Ballet School and has studied ballet, modern, Spanish dance, choreography, and choreology. She taught with the Western Cape Education Department for nine years, specializing in ballet and creative dance. During those years she also organized RAD examinations and staged and choreographed student performances.
In 1999, she moved to the U.S. and joined the faculty of the Shore Ballet School in Island Heights, NJ. While at Shore Ballet she taught ballet and modern dance and choreographed/staged numerous dances for student performances. Miss Nichole has been examined successfully in RAD and Cecchetti methods and holds the Royal Academy of Dance’s Teachers Dipolma. She is also a certified Group Fitness instructor. She is a member of the American Academy of Ballet and Royal Academy of Dance. Miss Nichole recently obtained certification as a PBT Instructor. (Progressing Ballet Technique); a strengthening and conditioning program that helps improve performance and technique.
Since relocating to Delaware in 2010, Miss Nichole has been teaching ballet at Delaware Dance Company and creative dance enrichment programs at area pre-schools. Miss Nichole is very happy to be teaching at Bella Dance Center.
Miss Mia has been dancing since she was 18 months old, and at Bella Dance Center since it opened. She has been trained in ballet, pointe, tap, jazz, lyrical, contemporary, modern and musical theatre. She started assisting at Bella Dance Center when she was in 6th grade and became a lead teacher as a Junior in high school.
Miss Mia has always loved being on stage and dancing but she has found a new passion of hers… teaching. She looks forward to continuing to teach at Bella Dance Center while attending the University of Delaware as she studies to become a pediatric physical therapist. She can’t wait to continue working with children both at the studio and in her future career.

Miss Laura began her dance journey at the age of 3 at Hockessin Dance Center, in Hockessin, Delaware. She joined their staff as a Student Teacher and ended as Lead Teacher for ages 2-8. Miss Laura chose to step away from dance to pursue another career.
Along the way, she met her husband and they decided to put down roots in Middletown, DE. They welcomed 2 daughters, Emma and Annabelle into the world and she knew she would encourage them to try dancing! The girls started their dance journey in 2018 with Bella Dance Center and have been dedicated ever since. Miss Laura decided it was her turn to get back in the studio and reignite her first love of teaching Dance!

Miss Madison has been dancing since she was 4 years old at Bella Dance Center. She has studied ballet, pointe, jazz, musical theatre, lyrical and tap. Jazz is her favorite. She was a member of Bella Dance Centers Competition Team for 5 years and loved it!
Miss Madison is a senior at Appoquinimink High School. She has high honor roll and is taking criminal justice as her pathway. Her favorite class to take is English because she loves writing. Miss Madison also is a cheerleader in the fall for her school's football team. In her free time she enjoys baking, reading and traveling.
Miss Madison has been student teaching for the past 3 years and adores it. She loves seeing the dancers grow and is so excited to become an instructor this year at Bella Dance Center.
Miss Caroline started dancing at 6 years old and has been dancing for 8 years. She has studied ballet, tap, jazz, musical theater, and lyrical. This is her first year as a student teacher and she is so excited.
Miss Caroline is a junior at Appoquinimink High School. She is also on the cheer team for her school. When she is not dancing, she loves to spend time with her dog and hang out with her family and friends.

Miss Brenna began dancing with Miss Amy when she was two years old. She studies Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Lyrical, and Musical Theater, and has assisted for four years with summer camps. This is Miss Brenna’s third year student teaching.
In addition to dance, Miss Brenna plays field hockey and volleyball. She can also be found fishing, having fun on the farm and in the mountains. Miss Brenna is extremely honored to be a student teacher at Bella Dance Center and for the opportunity to work with your dancers.

Miss Olivia began dancing at the age of two at Bella Dance Center. She took a break in 2020 and returned to BDC in 2023. Miss Olivia has just completed 11 years at BDC. She is trained in Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Lyrical, Musical Theater, Hip Hop, and Pom.
Miss Olivia was a member of BDC’s Dance Team for the 2019-2020 season. She is at the studio 5 days a week and absolutely loves it.
Miss Olivia is a junior at Padua Academy and is an honors and AP student. She is involved with her school's chapter of future teachers, a career she hopes to pursue in the future. She is also a member of the Padua Varsity Dance Team and is very honored to have that opportunity. When she is not dancing, she enjoys baking, reading, watching movies, and spending time with family and friends,
Miss Olivia cannot wait to student teach this year! She is extremely grateful and excited to work with the dancers!
Miss Joselyn is currently a junior at Newark Charter School where she is consistently on honor roll and has dreams of working in the math field. When Miss Joselyn is not studying or dancing she can be found as a Sunday school teacher assistant at Holy Angels Church, working with elementary school students. Miss Joselyn is also fully bilingual in English and Spanish, while studying French at school.

Miss Reilly started dancing when she was young at the YMCA. At 9 years old she began Hip Hop classes at Bella Dance Center. The following year, she moved to a Combo class, incorporating Ballet, Tap, and Jazz, and then also added Musical Theater. She loves being a part of the BDC family and learning to grow with dance.
Miss Reilly is a junior at Middletown High School in the plant science pathway, studying to be a landscape designer. She also does backstage crew with the plays and musicals at Middletown and is in the Choir. Miss Reilly is honored and excited to help with dancers throughout the year.

Miss Siena is a 7th grader at Everett Meredith Middle school. She has been dancing at Bella Dance Center since she was three. Her favorite class is Musical Theater. Miss Siena is also a competitive cheerleader where she loves to jump and tumble. Miss Siena is so excited to be a student teacher and to work with the students!

Miss Lily started dancing at Bella Dance Center when she was 12. She studies Tap, Jazz, Musical Theater, and is joining Lyrical this fall. Her favorite class is Musical Theater. She has helped with summer camps the past two summers, and this will be her first year student teaching.
Miss Lily is a freshman at Odessa High School, and she plays field hockey for their JV team. Her favorite subject is English because she loves to write. Miss Lily is so excited to have the opportunity to work with the younger dancers!
